To the right you can see Lumens in the sense of 25, 40, 60 and 100 watt incandescent bulbs, in-case you want to switch to LEDs while keeping a similar amount of Lumens. The amount of light (Lumens) you can get out of a single LED depends on how much current you supply to it, this is measured in milliamps (mA) or amps (A). A lumen is a scientific unit measuring luminous flux or the total amount of visible light from a source. In terms of brightness, they are measured in Lumens. LEDs are the brightest lighting solution out there. Incandescent Wattage to LED Lumen Comparison Chart Incandescent Wattage To the right is an example of the CAT code layout. All emitters packaged within a reel are of the same 3-variable bin combination. LED emitters (diodes) are labeled using a three to four digit alphanumeric code (CAT code) showing the bin values for emitters packaged on a single reel. We always make it a priority to try and provide customers with the same binned LEDs so that there are no variations from diode to diode. Here at LEDSupply we try to pick the bins with the highest flux and lowest forward voltage as this will make sure they are the most efficient possible. The manufacturers data sheets (linked at the bottom of every LED product page) will show you what the bin number means so you can search for bins that are just right for you. For this reason, manufacturers bin the LED components for these three areas in order to tell specifically what the characteristics will be and so that applications that need all the same LEDs make sure to purchase diodes that are of the same bin. This means that in the manufacturing process the color, flux (brightness), and even forward voltage can be different from production run to production run. ![]() Whether you're looking for colour changing(RGB), smart connectivity, or a custom solution, we've got a wide range of LED Strip Lights. In the manufacturing of LEDs there is a variation of performance around the average values given in the technical data sheets. When the public began to forget him, he became an alcoholic, never leaving the other-dimensional Oblivion Bar (which changed management twice during his time there), until the establishment was acquired by Jim Rook. However, as an ape, without civil rights and being unable to stand as a juridical person, he could not enforce unpaid bills. During this successful period he was visited by another detective, John Jones (actually the Martian Manhunter, during the JLApe crisis), who thought Bobo's agency seemed to be doing better than his own. Initially he did quite well, as a chimp detective was seen as a novelty. Īfter the death of Fred Thorpe, he began to work by himself. It is not known how he left, or even if the Bureau still exists. The intelligence Bobo gained put a damper on the success of the sideshow act, and in at least one instance, he decided that a woman had in fact murdered her sister, and shared his insights with the local police.Īt some point after this, Bobo was employed by the Bureau of Amplified Animals. Rex's and Bobo's journey to the Fountain of Youth was originally depicted in the aforementioned DC Comics Presents #35, July 1981. The success of the act lasted until a trip to Florida, at which time Rex the Wonder Dog, took him to the Fountain of Youth, where he gained the ability to speak to all living creatures, even humans, in their own language, as well as eternal youth. Bobo formed a strong bond with Thorpe because Thorpe took care of him, and gave him a simpler life than in the jungle. For the act, Detective Chimp was trained to answer some detective-related questions using a combination of signals and rewards, giving the illusion that he could "discover the deepest secrets of the public". In the latter, it was shown that Bobo was captured in Gorilla City, Equatorial Africa in 1953 by Fred Thorpe, who sought to train him for his carnival act: "Bobo the Detective Chimp". This origin has since been retconned, notably in the Day of Vengeance six-part limited series. 2) #40 credited the experimentation of a microscopic alien race with Bobo's intelligence. The Chimp's origin has been revamped and elaborated on several times since his initial Silver Age appearances. One of the other former members of the Society was the detective/superhero Ralph Dibny. Bobo, a smoker, is a member of Mensa, and had a long-standing partnership with four other detectives as the Croatoan Society. He could not speak, but could understand humans and make himself understood. When first introduced, Detective Chimp was a simple, although intelligent, trained chimpanzee, who acted as a "helping mascot" for the local sheriff, after helping him to solve the murder of his chimpanzee trainer, Fred Thorpe. The character has gone on to guest-star in other DC Comics titles, and has been a key member of the second incarnation of the Justice League Dark since its 2018 reboot. This eventually led to prominent roles in the 2005 Day of Vengeance miniseries and subsequently as a regular in its spin-off series Shadowpact. ![]() Following these appearances, Bobo started appearing in DC titles with some regularity, appearing in issues of Green Lantern, The Flash, and other titles. Several decades after his last appearance, Detective Chimp appeared in several cameos, namely in a 1981 story, "Whatever Happened to Rex the Wonder Dog?" ( DC Comics Presents #35) and later in a brief cameo with Sam Simeon in Gorilla City during 1985's Crisis on Infinite Earths. ![]() ![]() Īfter his initial appearance in Adventures of Rex the Wonder Dog he continued to appear in that title as a backup feature until 1959, at which point he faded into obscurity. He was originally created in the final years of the Golden Age of Comic Books, during the interregnum between the former and the Silver Age of Comic Books. A common chimpanzee who wears a deerstalker hat ( à la Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional sleuth Sherlock Holmes), Detective Chimp has superhuman-level intelligence and solves crimes, often with the help of the Bureau of Amplified Animals, a group of intelligent animals that also includes Rex the Wonder Dog. If you are unable to monitor this as much as you may need to in order to find the source of the problem, you can band aid it probably. I would bet that something is doing this to your printers. Anytime you give the end users the knowledge to fix something, you are opening yourself up to more issues, but I had no other choice really. It only took me a minute to fix it.However, I wasn't always available to fix it right then and there. So instead of waiting on me, they could just fix it. I also trained the supervisors on how to fix this if it does happen. ![]() I had to talk with the leadership of our warehouses and then provide training on how to avoid this type of issue. I never found the individuals that were causing this in my situation. I suppose a bad system board or something along those lines can cause it, but I would think that is far more unlikely. I have never seen this type of thing happen for any other reason than a non ZPL print job being sent to it or the printer assuming the driver settings. See if you can determine if it is always certain printers. I would keep watching closely at the printers that are changing. Right now we are probably 80/20 Intermec to Zebra. Their support, in my experience, has been great. Zebra is a better product and can also work with our MDM (AirWatch). I am also not impressed with their customer service. I am not impressed with their product.especially their mobile printers. I am trying to influence more of a move towards Zebra. The only other thing I can think of outside of the above is maybe a faulty sensor that is getting engaged thinking there is ribbon installed on the printer. Once someone printed to the printer without this box being checked, the printer would switch to the driver settings and stay there until someone changed them. If this wasn't checked, the printer would assume whatever settings the print driver was set to in Windows. Under Document Settings > Advance Tab, there was a box that had to be checked that said "Use Printer Settings". It would be the same as going into something like Page Settings in Word. To avoid this issue, you had to go into the Document Settings before you hit the Ok button to print. The issue ended up being simple. This fix would apply to any program printing directly to this printer. The fix was simply changing the settings back to what they should be, but this would have to be done 20 times a day. The Darkness and Print Speed would also be changed. In this situation, the printer would revert to Thermal Transfer instead of being set to Direct Thermal. Once they started doing this kind of printing, I kept seeing the printer have settings revert to default. They would install the drivers for the printer onto their laptop and print to this printer like you would any normal printer. I am not sure how your printing is setup, but this could be a possibility for you.Ģ) I had a handful of workers printing to a Zebra ZT410 over our network from a label design program called Bartender. Basically a warehouse worker was forgetting to change his printer on his handheld when he would switch to working on something else. The issue was being caused by a print job with a label that was designed in Intermec's print language (IPL) being sent to a Zebra printer that was setup to only recognize Zebra's print language (ZPL). I would change it back which fixed the issue. After troubleshooting, I noticed that the feed setting, darkness setting and print speed settings were all reverted back to defaults. Eventually, I would get called and told the printers were broken. When they scanned whatever it is they scan, a transaction was done in our database and a label then printed. I found that this was being caused by 2 different things.ġ) I installed a couple Zebra 170 Xi4 printers to an area that had about 5 people all printing labels to it from wireless handheld scanners that used a telnet session. Thermal TRansfer is the default print mode for Zebra printers. When you said it was changing to Direct Thermal to Thermal Transfer, it reminded me of what I experienced. I was able to find the cause for why this was happening to me, but it may not be the same for you. I have had similar situations drive me nuts before. Just in case you weren't able to find an answer, I may be able to help. ![]() ![]() ![]() Fix to accidental deletion of audio clips if an image is renamed when only the case differs.jAlbum no longer does regular network calls to check for new "collaborative images" if no such projects are active.A notification is shown, and that's enough for background tasks.
